Desktop mode is a feature that turns your device into a computer workstation when connected to an external display.

Hide task bar​

Drag the slider to hide/show the task bar.

Hide task bar hotseat​

Drag the slider to hide/show the task bar hotseat (the quick-launch application tray).

Dock events apps​

This setting controls how applications behave when a handheld device is inserted into or removed from a physical desktop docking station.

Main screen app on insert​

Selects a specific application to launch automatically on the external monitor the moment the mobile scanner is inserted into a docking station.

Main screen app on extract​

Allows to select a specific app that must open immediately on the monitor the moment the scanner is extracted from a docking station.
