Notification

Use this settings to configure the good read tone and display notification.

Good Read Duration

Sets the duration of the notification (LED, green spot or beep) the scanner emits on a good read.

Good Read Interval

Sets the interval between each notification (LED, green spot or beep) the scanner emits on a good read.

Good Read Number

Sets the number of notifications (LED, green spot or beep) the scanner emits on a good read.

Good Read Timeout

Sets the amount of time before the good read LED and the green spot turn off after a successful decoding (unless the trigger is released or the SDK release function is called before that time).

Enable Display Notification

Enables display notifications (toasts). If cleared, the scanner is disabled until you launch a scanner listener application developed using the Datalogic SDK or enable a keyboard/ intent wedge.

Good Read Audio Mode

Allows to select the audio tone.

If Audio file is selected, the option Good read audio file displays. Tap it to select the file you want to use as good read ringtone.

Note

The Notification settings do not apply to an audio file.

Good Read Audio Channel

Allows to select the audio channel to be used for scanner notifications.

Option	Description
Scanner	The default, system-level channel designated for scanning sounds. Beeps usually play through this channel regardless of music or media playing.
Music	Routes the beep through the media audio stream. The beep will be muted or reduced in volume if the user is listening to music, audiobooks, or videos.
Voice-call	Routes the beep through the telephone/voice call channel. Use this if the scanner is used for VoIP applications to ensure the scan sound is heard in the headset during a call.
Alarm	Routes the beep through the alarm channel. This is generally used for a higher-priority or louder, distinct beep, often used for error tones rather than successful reads.
Ring	Routes the beep through the phone ringer channel. It will behave according to the ringtone volume settings.

Good Read Audio Volume

Sets the volume of beep tone or audio file (if enabled).
