JTAG Locking System

Datalogic has implemented a JTAG locking system at a low level to prevent attackers from accessing the device's hardware through JTAG debug.

JTAG debug is a powerful tool used by developers and engineers to debug and test hardware at a low level. However, it can also be exploited by attackers to gain unauthorized access to the device's hardware and modify its firmware or software. With Datalogic JTAG locking system, attackers cannot use JTAG to access the device's hardware and modify its firmware or software.
